The People's Community Garden in Ipswich

LOCATED IN THE SOUTH OF IPSWICH NEAR THE MAIN RAIL LINE TO LONDON.

THE MAIN gate to the gardens is via Halifax Road in the maidenhall area of Ipswich. Type IP2 8RE into sat nav and street maps online.  Access is also possible via Whersted Road. 

If possible please let us know you are coming. If you just turn up, the garden runs the length of the allotment fence towards the docks, rail line & whersted road. Shout for us to let you in or phone the number on the noticeboard.

AFTER WORKING THERE FOR 2 YEARS I LEFT ON A HIGH WITH THE VEGETABLE GAMES. IT WAS AN IDEA THAT I HAD THAT HAPPENED WITH LOADS OF HARD WORK FROM A LOT OF PEOPLE. A SHAME IT DIDNT TAKE OFF BUT STILL A IDEA OF THE FUN THINGS YOU CAN DO AT THE COMMUNITY GARDEN.

THE TRANSITION IPSWICH GROUP HAS RECENTLY STARTED A ORCHARD PLOT NEAR TO THE GARDEN WHICH IS FAB.
