COMMUNITY SUPPORTED MEDICINE

This is related to COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE (CSA). The idea is that a community help grow herbs and make medicines from them and local wildcrafted herbs for their own needs. With CSA a farmer has the support of the local community with workforce at key times and people financially ensure the viability by buying from the farm.

With Community Supported Medicine (CSM) it might mean that people paid £10/ month and could access a medical herbalist when they needed it. This was an old chinese way of paying for healthcare so you are paying for being healthy and looked after when ill.

Im not sure if this has happened but I look forward to hearing and posting here, examples of such schemes.
